Tech team
New findings supporting the green transition in agriculture is in high demand, and so is the need for the new technology. That is why the Plant Facilities and Workshops put together a tech team specialising in data management software, drones and even agricultural robotics.
Researchers can hire the team for services such as field campaigns and measurement, programming and repairs, developing concepts, and technical project management.
The tech team has collected this expertise under one roof at PFW to make sure that the relevant technologies become more accessible as a service to researchers. For now, the team mainly operates drones and sensors for proximal and remote sensing. This summer also saw the latest addition to the family, the agriculture robot ROBOTTI, developed by the Danish company Agrointelli.
