New staff - status September 2020
We welcome Rosanna Hennessy to the project. See below what her background is and what she will work on in INTERACT.
Assistant Professor Rosanna Hennessy
Rosanna is a microbial biotechnologist with expertise in molecular biology and microbial genetics. Her work focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms involved in the interactions between beneficial bacteria and pathogenic fungi. Rosanna’s work in INTERACT will mainly focus on understanding how and why beneficial bacteria associated to wheat produce secondary metabolites, and what role rhizosphere-associated signalling molecules play in modulating metabolite production and microbial assembly at the plant-soil interphase.
Place of employment: University of Copenhagen, Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences, Microbial Ecology and Biotechnology
