New staff at NIAB
We welcome Dr. Netsai Mhlanga to the INTERACT project. She has been recruited as postdoc in Prof. Xiangming Xu's group at The National Institute of Agricultural Botany (NIAB) in UK, and her employement started on 1st of December 2020.
Dr Netsai Margareth Mhlanga
Netsai is a Plant Scientist who specialises in Plant Physiology, Molecular Biology, and Microbiology. As a researcher, she is fascinated by how plants attract beneficial symbiotic organisms and defend themselves from antagonistic pests and pathogens. In INTERACT, Netsai will determine the extent of genetic control of key root exudates and study the interaction of key root exudates with a selected number of microorganisms in MAGIC wheat lines.
