I’m a new PhD student in INTERACT. I focused on the transformation of Arsenic and related microorganisms in paddy soils during my master. My subject was to isolate archaea from paddy soils when I worked as a research assistant for two years in Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences in Beijing.

In INTERACT, I am doing project related with archaea. My supervisor is Associate Prof. Mette Nicolaisen. I will explore the distribution of archaea in the rhizosphere of wheat. I will also focus on the isolation of archaea from rhizosphere and the interaction between bacteria and archaea using Syncoms.

Place of employment: University of Copenhagen, Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences, Microbial Ecology and Biotechnology.
