New Master Students at UCPH
Two new Master Students have started on the INTERACT project during August. Read here about their background and what they will work on.
Master Student Courtney Horn Herms
I have a background in Microbiology and infectious diseases. As part of the INTERACT project, I will be studying the role of cyclic lipopeptides (CLP) secreted by Pseudomonas in the rhizosphere. I wish to understand both the role that the CLP plays in microbial interactions, and how those microbial interactions which are influenced by CLP secretion affect the susceptibility of wheat to fungal diseases.

Master Student Amber Kunne
I am Amber and I am a graduation student biotechnology from The Netherlands. I worked with genome editing for my third year internship. I am here for my graduation internship at the department Microbial Ecology and Biotechnology for a period of 8 months. My project is about understanding the interaction between plants and microbacteria in the soil around the plantroots rhizosphere. Especially understanding the expression and functioning of CLP's during these interactions.
