Research interest
Development and implementation of plant transformation technologies for several species - potato (8 cultivars), rape seed, tomato , Lotus japonicus, Brachypodium distachyon, Lemna and tobacco – plants and suspension cells (BY2). Latest different algae.
Use of transgenic plants to investigation of ex. genes involved in cell wall synthesis and degrading, drought, disease resistance, bio-fuel.
Development of larger scale extraction of RGI from plant cell walls for different uses as medical coating, food ingredients.
Development of extraction of nano-cellulose for use as green bio-composite

Management and coordination
Project coordination has been and is a major part of my work both as head of the transformation unit in my DJF employment and as project manager and administrator of several national and international projects.
