My main PhD project at the DynaMo Center aims at producing different glucosinolates in yeast by genetic engineering. Metabolite profiling and proteomics will be performed to analyze for metabolic bottlenecks. The project will continue on optimizations of the glucosinolates production. Additionally, some plant experiments will be attempted to identify the exact role of two genes in glucosinolates production.
