Research focus
My research interests are primarily in the sociology of food and eating. My PhD project (MEATSTATUS) deals with food culture in the green transition with a focus on the status of meat and competing culinary understandings of 'meat', including plant-based meat. Methodologically, the project uses qualitative go-along interviews and focus groups med with socio-demographically diverse selection of Danes.
Theoretically, I am interested in sociological perspectives on consumption, emotions, everyday life, and social science methodology.
