Main research focus:  investigating the interaction between the gut microbiota and immune response to entomopathogens in insects

My PhD project is part of the H2020 Insect Doctors ITN (https://www.insectdoctors.eu/en/insectdoctors.htm), which aims to  train young scientists to develop knowledge and technical skills to diagnose pathogens causing diseases in commercial insect production systems.
