Identification and characterization of antagonistic and phytopathogenic fungi with PCR fingerprinting, interaction studies of antagonists, pathogens and plants, gene expression analysis of antagonistic Trichoderma spp. and C. rosea, reporter gene technology, participant in the EU-project: "TrichoEST - Functional genomics and proteomics of Trichoderma antagonist strains for industry and agriculture" (2003-2006) and the SJVF funded project: "Secretome analysis of plant pathogen interactions, based on transposon assisted signal trapping" (2005-2007).

identification of genes involved in the interactions, which then will be studied to elucidate their roles either in biocontrol interactions or with the host plant.
